Safisana Ghana, located in Adjei Kojo, Ashaiman is seeking to hire a full-time HR & Administrative Assistant to take responsibility for HR and to assist the Senior Manager as an Administrative Assistant.

Safisana has developed a circular business model for local waste treatment for governments, utilities and food processing industries. Our recycling plants turn organic waste and faecal sludge into high-value products: renewable energy, organic fertilizer, and irrigation water.

Your role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the ideal candidate will help recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies, managing procedures and enforcing company policies and practices. employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, and that training and development As an HR Officer, you will ensure opportunities are available to colleagues to enhance their performance and achieve the company's business aims. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you will contribute to making the company a better place to work. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support including handling all information requests, conducting general research, and performing administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

Key responsibilities for HR:
●  Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
●  Provide counseling on policies and procedures
●  Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
●  Create and implement effective onboarding plans and deliver induction training
●  Analyze training needs in conjunction with departmental managers; develop training and development programs
●  Assist in performance management processes
●  Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
●  Maintain employee records including attendance according to policy and legal requirements
●  Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Key responsibilities for Administrative Assistance:
●  Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients; prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
●  Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
●  Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings

Qualifications
●  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
●  Knowledge of HR functions
●  Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
●  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
●  Willing to travel, has a valid driver’s license
