Vacancy: Project Manager
at Safisana Ghana Ltd. in Accra
Safisana Ghana, located in Adjei Kojo, Ashaiman, is seeking to hire a full-time Project Manager to be responsible for leading and coordinating projects and innovations at its plants. The position will initially be on a contract basis for 6 months.
Safisana is an international social enterprise that has developed a circular and affordable waste recycling model for governments, utilities and food processing industries. Our recycling plant in Ashaiman opened in 2017 as the first waste-to resource plant in West Africa. Here we treat faecal waste and organic waste and turn it into a resource to produce renewable energy and organic fertilizer. This way Safisana serves around 150,000 people with impact on multiple SDGs related to climate, health, sanitation and food security. In the coming decade, we expect to replicate the Safisana model recycling plant in and outside Ghana and to exponentially grow our impact.
