In February 2025, the Safisana Foundation welcomed Willemijn Keizer to its Board of Directors. Willemijn has lastly been the Executive Director of the NAF (The Nederland - America Foundation) based in New York and before has been the Director for Institutional Giving at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, USA. Willemijn brings a wealth of expertise in non-profit organization leadership. Willemijn is an experienced and results-driven professional with 20 years of national and international expertise in nonprofit leadership, consulting, and management. She is known for successfully driving organizational growth, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders—including boards, government agencies, academic institutions, foundations, and corporate partners. A strategic thinker with exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills, Willemijn is committed to supporting Safisana’s mission to create circular and financially sustainable solutions that tackle all health, climate, energy, and food challenges.
