Safisana has been recognized as an exemplary bioeconomy solution by the Netherlands Agricultural Network as part of a new initiative launched by the G20 Agricultural Working Group. This initiative shines a spotlight on Dutch organizations around the world that are making a tangible impact on advancing the bioeconomy.
The Netherlands is leading the circular bio-economy worldwide
We are proud to share that Safisana was selected as a leading example in Ghana's bioeconomy sector.
As part of this recognition, a delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana visited Safisana's waste-to-resource plant in Ashaiman. The delegation interviewed our General Manager, Elikplim Asilevi, for an in-depth article highlighting our innovative circular bio-economic model.

Turning Waste Into Value
The article explores how Safisana transforms organic and fecal waste into valuable resources:
- Asase Gyefo Premium Organic Fertilizer for seedlings and crops
- Green electricity for the national grid
- Renewable natural gas for industrial use
We are grateful for the Netherlands Agricultural Network and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana. We value your continued support and partnership with Safisana.
