Inspiring sessions and fruitful meetings at All Systems Connect 2023 in The Hague

This week Safisana attended the All Systems Connect 2023 International Symposium in The Hague, with presentations, inspiring sessions and fruitfull meetings with many interesting people in the internatonal WASH sector, coming from Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia and all over the world.

Early morning meeting with the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources of Ghana, Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah and her team about improving waste management and sanitation for local communities in Ghana, through recycling of organic waste and feacal sludge. The Minister stressed the importance of waste as a resource. "Waste is something that we should value much more. Instead of dumping it, it can be used to produce energy and fertilizer. Waste is wealth!", according to the Minister.
