You come from the traditional oil industry. How did you learn about Safisana and what did you appreciate most about our solution?

''I deliberately wanted to make a strategic move to position myself in the market of renewable energy to remain relevant in the discussion of future energies. I learnt about Safisana through a news item on a local radio station Asaase Radio last year and through a referral from the Ministry of Energy who was very positive about the model. What picked my interest, is the fact that Safisana is a social enterprise and a holistic  solution to our sanitation problems."

What is your first impression of Safisana so far?

''It is a tested model that promises great results for the future. Compared to other waste-to-energy competitors in the market, who are more concerned about political expediency, Safisana has a genuine intention and purpose to improve health and the environment and solve soil fertility issues.''

What are your expectations and plans for this coming year?

''To improve the visibility of Safisana, not only in Ashaiman but across Ghana, to expand our market reach. We can do this through sales structure expansion and the implementation of a distribution model for the Asase Gyefo organic fertilizer. Internally, I want to ensure all team members keep on being highly motivated and brought to their full potential! Since the people are key to the success of the business and the company as a whole.''
